As one of the supporting organizations, MGTO participated in the 33rd Hong Kong International Travel Expo (ITE) from 13-16 June 2019 in Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. To promote Macao tourism to trade counterparts, overseas buyers and the general public, 42 Macao tourism industry representatives including hotels, travel agencies, shipping and event companies joined MGTO in the Macao pavilion to showcase Macao’s latest tourism products and facilities.
On the occasion of the 20th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Macao SAR, the Macao pavilion was themed as “Experience Macao Celebrating Style”, with golden and colorful ribbons as elements to highlight the festive and vibrant image of Macao. Visitors could obtain in-depth understanding on Macao’s tourism information through promotional publications available in the pavilion and social media platforms, also take photos with the lovely Macao tourism mascot “Mak Mak”. During the Consumer Days, MGTO cooperated with 3 Hong Kong travel agents to offer exclusive discounted packages on site to encourage more visitors travelling to Macao.
